Hamilton Hills became official in 2003 when the neighborhood name was changed by the neighborhood association. Hamilton Hills' population has remained relatively stable in the 21st century relative to Baltimore's overall population decline. As of 2020, Hamilton Hills was the city's fifth most populous neighborhood by total population. Compared to Baltimore as a whole, Hamilton Hills residents had higher median household income, higher life expectancy, lower crime rates, and higher voter turnout in the 2010s. Hamilton Hills residents are more likely to of all Baltimoreans to graduate from high school, but are least likely to graduate from college. Hamilton Hills is located on the third ring of Baltimore City Hall.
