Berkeley Heights is a community in Union County, New Jersey, United States. The community is a suburban city in northern New Jersey, located in the Raritan Valley region of the New York metropolitan area. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population of the community was 13,183, a decrease of 224 (1.7%) from 13,407 at the 2000 Census, a decrease of 1,427 (+11.9%) of the 11,980 residents counted. increased in the 1990 census. Based on data from the American Community Survey for 2013-2017, the township's residents had a median household income of $147,614 and ranked 15th in the state among communities with more than 10,000 residents, nearly double the state average for $76,475.
