Eatontown is a town in Monmouth County, New Jersey. As of the 2010 census, the county's population was 12,709, a decline of 1,299 (-9.3%) from the 2000 census population of 14,008. Present-day Eatontown was originally incorporated as the town of Eatontown, New Jersey, through an act of the Legislature of 2000 on April 4, 1873 from portions of Ocean Township and Shrewsbury Township.
